STEP 1 - Requirements

• What is the water source? (Borehole or River)

• Daily water need? (m³/day)

Step 2 — Calculate Total Lift

  • Total Lift = H + 10% × L
  • H: Tank height
  • L: Water delivery distance - from pump to tank/farmland

Step 3 — Pump Head

  • Total Lift ≈ 30%–70% of Max Head

Step 4 — Pump Flow

  • Max Flow > Daily Water Use
