STEP 1 - Requirements
• What is the water source? (Borehole or River)
• Daily water need? (m³/day)
Step 2 — Calculate Total Lift
- Total Lift = H + 10% × L
- H: Tank height
- L: Water delivery distance - from pump to tank/farmland
Step 3 — Pump Head
- Total Lift ≈ 30%–70% of Max Head
Step 4 — Pump Flow
- Max Flow > Daily Water Use
